Just a quick announcement on a restart of a web site that I'll be the NASCAR writer for. Sports Review Magazine has been around since the 1940s. They went electronic in the last decade. I started writing for them last summer, and this is the second overhaul since then. Hopefully this will be the last one.
We should be up and running this month. All the major sports will have dedicated writers, even hockey. I'll have links on my blogs, and I hope everyone checks it out....at least once.

Just checked it out Gene. Looks pretty good. The main page is difficult to see with the color and size of the article fonts. Will check it out again when you are rolling.

ReplyDeleteThanks Rick. That's not the final design yet, just the direction that it's heading. The sports news feeds on the lower half of the page won't be as prominent once we have our content rolling. And, hopefully, the revolving pics (like Fox) will feature SRM's writer's stories.

ReplyDeleteIts a bummer blogspot doesnt have a central place for us -- I have kicked around the idea of doing a nascar blog with all of us listed as authors and we could use that as Blogger Central and keep our individual blogs linked to it...
ReplyDeleteFOXsports is a disaster now...its a big social networking site -- I think bloggers were getting a bit too threatening for them to continue to support!! And I dont like gettin' diss'ed! LOL

Nothing bad about Jr.? Is that considered censorship? Oh well. Perhaps with Eury Jr. out of the picture things might turn around, I hope.

You may have this all figured out by now but I shot an email to Lori. She's in ALABAMA BLOGGERS (isn't that a neat name? LOL) cause I thought they had a central location somehow. I haven't heard from her but I told her to contract Kristen. That's all I've got.

Gonger....Look at the upper right hand corner of your blog page. Click on 'customize'. Open 'Layout' tab.
ReplyDeleteThe layout screen will let you add a header, like Spinout! It also lets you add gadgets....polls, pictures, youtube, etc.
